So when Tracy gave a shout out for participants for an upcoming stacked bracelet challenge on her blog "Make Bracelets" (a great blog, BTW), I jumped in and joined.
The idea was to create a stack of at least three bracelets with at least one made by you. Here is my stack.
Let's dissect this jumble and take a look at what's around my wrist.
I have 6 bracelets in my stack, all made by me except one. Here they are in no particular order.
Wrapped with a pretty clasp. |
Czech beads, crystal and freshwater pearls. |
Jasper, smokey topaz and brass beads, with a kicky key charm. |
Crocheted bracelet with seed beads Czech glass and brass beads. |
This one was made by my friend, Bob Burkett from copper wire |
Another wrapped one. This one wraps double. |
All together. |
Closeup of the clasp. |
More up close. |

ReplyDeleteLove those wrapped bracelets! Just too fun!
ReplyDeleteThe colors are all really pretty together. Impressed that you have beading, wrapped bracelets, crochet seed beads, cool metalwork, and use of neat elements all represented in your stack! Thanks so much for playing!
ReplyDeleteTracy
They all work so well together! I have an affinity for keys so I love those. And that wrap style is so popular. Great stack! Enjoy the day. Erin
ReplyDeletethe entire set is beautiful!!!! do you mind me asking what the core and wrapping is on the last wrapped bracelet?
ReplyDeleteI love your colour palette, esp the pops of blue in the coppers, nice work!
ReplyDeleteI'm a big fan of the one with the key clasp. Great mix of beads, leather, and metal.

ReplyDeleteYour stack is lovely. I really like all the different styles of bracelets you've got in there. And the color palette is so subtle, it looks like that stack could go with just about anything!
ReplyDeleteI love your color palette.
ReplyDeleteThere's a lot going on but it all works in a very soft subtle way.
Great work!
I like the crochet seed bead bracelet as I love working with seed beads but overall they harmonize together. They absolutely are a beautiful stack of color, texture, mix of materials etc.!
ReplyDeleteKate, what a BEAUTIFUL stack of bracelets! I love the color palette - it is such a soft, pretty one. My favorite bracelets are the seedbead crocheted one and the double-wrapped bracelet with the copper hook clasp!
