Bead Soup is ON! What a great event this has been. Before I go any further I want to send out a BIG thanks to our Hostess, Lori Anderson of Pretty Things What a huge undertaking and she pulls it off every time. Thanks, Lori for putting this all together.
Next a big thanks to my Bead Soup partner, Sweet Freedom of Sweet Freedom Designs What riches she sent me. (And HOLY COW! I just had to add that I hopped over to her reveal and I am AMAZED at what she made. She is so creative and the pieces are marvelous.)
My work with this lovely palette was almost effortless since my partner has such a great eye. (Plus a lot of tallent look at that clasp and centerpiece that she made...awesome! AND she enameled those beads, too. Lucky ME!!)
So I just grabbed some Soft Flex beading wire, added some faceted crystal (for shine) and brown lava (for more texture) and dove in.
I had set two of the enameled pieces aside and used those for earrings. I just love the enameled pieces and wanted to show these two off.
Here it is one more time.
I love it and have plans to wear it this week as I have the perfect outfit to show it off. Happy Beading to all...have a great weekend.
Added... Here is is on. I am on set filming a class for Craftsy.com. It is now in my permanent "teaching wardrobe" collection.

I love the beads and focal your partner sent you! Really cool design putting the focal in the back, very unique. I adore your enamel earrings.

Would love to see you wearing the necklace - I love it! (But I'm still trying to picture the focal in back - sounds interesting!) I like how you added the little flower dangle near the focal. He (she?) was supposed to be a pair, but the other one didn't turn out very well. Perfect for a dangle! And those earrings rock!
ReplyDeleteI love your designs they are beautiful! The colors are amazing and you are so right the focal does not have to go in the front.
