Wanna Solder This Weekend?

Then join me in my upcoming class at my studio on Saturday. All of the details are here, and you can sign up here, but here is the info in a nutshell:

Introduction to Soldering
Saturday, Feb 23, 10-5
Learn a few handy and simple metalworking techniques including how to make several simple stacking ring bands, how to stamp a simple initial pendant and solder a jump ring to the top and make a pair of pretty earrings that feature embellished earwires.

All projects will be completed in class.
Everything you need to make the projects is included in the class fee. There will be plenty of tools to share.

Class Fee $95

If you are partial to your own tools, here is the list:
Flush wire cutters
Chain nose pliers
Round nose pliers
Chasing Hammer
Bench Block
Metal Files

Happy Valentine's Day everyone!

I am back from Tucson and boy, oh boy, was it fun. (More recap on that later!) After a much needed rest day yesterday, I am up and at 'em and preparing to leave for a blissful quilt retreat weekend with my mom.

But first some news. The long awaited paste solder that I use in my book is finally back in my Etsy shop.

Next, as you may know I have a FREE class on Micro Torch Basics on Craftsy.com. Since its debut in September 2012 it has almost 23,000 (I KNOW twenty-three THOUSAND!) students enrolled.
